This mala was designed with sign of Aries in mind. It features the Egyptian trio of Carnelian, Lapis, & Turquoise. According to lore, the goddess Isis protected the dead with a Carnelian Amulet. Lapis, also known to the ancient Egyptians as the “heaven’s stone,” was adored by Cleopatra VII. She was known to wear the stone and to ground it into a powder to be used as eyeshadow. Turquoise’s calming hue balances the fiery red heat of the carnelian, and the nourishing blue of the lapis enhances the other two stones. 

All three stones suit Aries perfectly, with Carnelian being a stone that enhances their creative energy, Turquoise for balancing emotions, and Lapis for communicative expression. Combined with the empowering energy of Blue Sky Jasper, this is a fantastic addition to the spiritual arsenal of emboldened Aries.

In meditation the idea is to run through the stand touching one bead at a time, using each movement as an opportunity to focus on a breath or mantra. This process creates positive spiritual energy and acts as a meditation aid to help the user have a tangible tool to focus on.  Strand measures approximately 44" and beads are 8mm. Size and material of guru bead varies from design to design. All of our malas are primarily made of semi-precious stones and nylon cord.
